Day 20 No Pose – Finding your Embodied No (and your full bodied Yes!)

It can be really hard to say no to certain people or for things we have done for a long time or things that are expected or things that feel we are needed for. We can be concerned the person will not be able to cope, we might be trying to protect them from their feelings and we can be worried about how they will feel towards us or even how they might change their behaviour. These are all valid.

Learning to say no is a process. It begins with feeling into our truth. Then it takes practice either with things that are easier and/ or things that are really important. But the key is practice. We practice saying no and feeling the discomfort – our own and that perceived coming back to us from the other. We titrate – little by little getting more comfortable. And in this process we begin to trust ourselves more, that the core of our being knows what’s best and is giving us the wisdom for us to act on.

Here is No pose. It is good to practice with Yes pose (if we say No to something we are saying Yes to something else and vice versa) so we can begin to feel it in our bodies to make it easier to discern what we do and don’t want, and also as we embody it we can translate it to other parts of our life.

Start practicing each for a few minutes today.  No need to declutter or tidy any more this week – unless you want to – please make those 3 priority (gratitude, rest, embodiment poses)

And let’s celebrate our achievements no matter how big or small. You are amazing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
