Day 32 The Kitchen continues…
How did it go with the kitchen yesterday?
Shall we do a cupboard at a time?
How about gadgets and containers.. Let’s be honest, what don’t you use? What haven’t you used for a year or more? When do you really think you will?
I know you might have spent money on these items and you might still harbour hopes that you will start [smoothie making, bread making, having dinner parties etc]
(insert gadget, tool or fanciful dreamworld situation here) .
But will you…? Really…?
Perhaps the space is worth more, and is worth trusting that if you do actually need one at some point in the future (or start having fondue parties) you can always get another?
Let it go.
If it doesn’t feel easy you can try letting go pose, self care pose and heartbreathing
If you’re finding it hard to let things go and you’re not sure – there’s no rush.
You could journal on it. You could do a 2 way prayer. You could sit quietly and ask for Guidance.
And as always with these physical decluttering tasks, I reiterate to start small. Super small. 5 mins, 5 items, half a shelf – whatever it takes to make a start. Just the goal of opening the cupboard door. You got this.
Rest, give thanks and celebrate all of your actions no matter how small🎉✨🎉✨🎉
